Scrapbook kept by William S. Wicks, probably beginning about 1872 to his retirement in 1917. Primarily consists of architectural drawings and plans, much of which appear to have been made while he was a student or a young professional. Some plans designed by Green & Wicks are also present.

William Sydney Wicks was born in Trenton, New York (Oneida County) on July 27, 1854. After completing his education studying architecture at Cornell University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Wicks worked briefly in the Boston office of Peabody and Sterns. He entered into a partnership with Edward Brodhead Green in 1881, and in 1884, the Green & Wicks architectural firm moved from Auburn, NY to Buffalo, NY.
